Contractor websites you can open right now

Legacy Sales Engineering builds and writes websites for contractors and home service businesses. Every example on this page is a live site you can click into and judge for yourself, not a mockup. Each one was written around a real sales process first, then built to answer the questions a homeowner actually asks before they pick up the phone.

What are you actually looking at?

Each card below is a live window into a client’s real website. Scroll past the frame and click any card to open the site in a new tab. Nothing here is a screenshot, so what you see is whatever that business is running today.

Look at them the way a homeowner would. How fast does the page tell you what the company does? Is there a phone number you can tap without hunting? Does the site answer the question you came with, or does it make you dig for it? Those are the same questions we ask before we write a single line for anybody.

A website is the easiest part of this to look at and the least important part on its own. A beautiful site attached to a sales process nobody follows still loses jobs. Every example here was written after we sat down and worked out how the company actually sells, what a good lead looks like, and what happens in the hours after somebody fills out a form. That is how we build websites, and it is why these read differently from a template.

    Full rebrand

    Always Fire and Gas

Always A Sweep became Always Fire and Gas. We wrote the new site, mapped every old address to its new home so the traffic had somewhere to land, and carried the new name across the whole front end.

    Website and voice AI

    Starr's & Stripes PowerWash

A pressure washing company that needed to show up for a long list of towns, not just one. We built out the service area pages and put a voice agent on the phone so an after-hours call still gets answered.

Homepage of the Trident Pool Solutions website, a custom pool builder in Ocala, Florida Live
    Pool construction

    Trident Pool Solutions

A pool builder doing custom construction, remodels and maintenance in Ocala. A pool is a long, considered purchase, so the site has to keep answering questions well after the first visit.

    Sandalwood Sheds and More

A veteran-owned shed and metal building dealer, formerly Premier Outdoor Structures. We planned the site structure around how people actually shop for a building, and mapped the redirects from the old name.

    Handyman to remodel

    Always Home Repair

A licensed residential repair contractor whose work runs from a small handyman call to a kitchen remodel and ongoing service plans. The site has to make a homeowner comfortable calling about either end of that range.

    Elite Floor Crafters

Flooring and remodeling in Central Florida. The copy had to carry two different buyers at once: the homeowner replacing one room, and the one taking the house down to the studs.

  • completedryervent.com
Homepage of the Complete Dryer Vent Services website, a certified dryer vent cleaning company in Central Florida Live
    Home safety services

    Complete Dryer Vent Services

Certified dryer vent cleaning and repair in Central Florida. People call about this because of fire risk, so the site leads with the reason and gets out of the way of the booking.

    Local search

    All Clear Dryer Vent Cleaning

The same trade on the Treasure Coast, and a business that lives or dies on local search. The focus here was the Google Business Profile and the links pointing at it.

    Brann's Cleaning Solutions

Commercial cleaning sells to a facilities manager, not a homeowner. This site is written for somebody comparing bids and quietly checking whether you will actually show up on a Tuesday.

The plan

How does a build like these start?

Three steps, and the first one costs nothing. We would rather tell you the website is not your problem than sell you one you do not need.

Step one

We look at what you have

We go through your site, your phone, and what happens after a lead comes in, the same way a homeowner would. You get a straight read on where jobs are leaking out.

Step two

We write the process first

Before a single page gets designed, we work out how you sell, what a good lead looks like, and who does what when the phone rings. The site is built to serve that.

Step three

We build it and stay on it

The site goes live, and we keep watching what it does. A website that nobody maintains starts falling behind the day it launches.

Questions people ask about our client work

Are these real websites or mockups?

They are real, live websites, loaded straight from each client's own address. Click any card and you land on the actual site in a new tab. If a client changes something today, you will see the change here.

Did Legacy Sales Engineering do all the work on every one of these?

The scope is different on each. Some were full builds, some were rebrands and migrations, and on others the work was the copy or the local search side. The tag on each card tells you which.

Can I talk to any of these owners before I hire you?

Ask us and we will see who is willing. We do not hand out client phone numbers without checking first, and you would want us to treat your number the same way.

Do you only work with contractors and home service businesses?

That is where most of our work sits, because the in-home sale is what we know best. We have built for other kinds of businesses, but the trades are where we are strongest.

How long does a website like these take?

It depends on how many pages you need and how much of the sales process has to get sorted out first. We give you a timeline before you commit, and we would rather quote it honestly than promise a date we will miss.

What if I just want the website and nothing else?

That is fine, and we will say so plainly if we think the site is not the thing costing you jobs. Some businesses need a rebuild. Some just need somebody to answer the phone. A redesign will not fix the second problem.

Want yours on this page?

Start with a free sales process evaluation. We go through your site, your phone, and what happens after a lead comes in, then tell you where the jobs are going. If the answer is that your website is fine and something else is broken, we will say that.
